About Flyers
Mission Statement
The Central Florida Flyers are a club team dedicated to strengthening our athletic community. We are based out of Celebration High School with the intent to cover the Central Florida area. Our main focus is on the development of Track and Field & Cross Country basics while giving those dedicated athletes an opportunity to have a baseline to compete and train year-round. We have knowledgeable, experienced, and caring coaches and volunteers which allows us to cover multiple events and give your child the necessary attention needed to excel and reach their individual goals.
Meet the Coaches
Rebecca Camis
I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Sports and Recreation Management from Ashford University. During my college career, I competed in Track and Field and Cross Country. I specialized in the Heptathlon, which is a two-day event combined of 100m Hurdles, High Jump, Shot Put, 200m Long Jump, Javelin and the 800m.
Once moving to Florida, I begin coaching at Celebration High School Coaching Cross Country, Soccer and Track and Field teams. My coaching highlights include seeing multiple athletes reach their goals by breaking personal and school records, seeing them qualifying for Regionals & States and most importantly helping them continue their love of the sport by earning college scholarships.
Gerardo Santiago
I attended both Darton College and Thomas University where I played Baseball and received a Bachelors in Secondary Education, in the field of Social Science. My love for running came from my high school cross country experience. I was part of a National Qualifying team but most importantly the sport molded me into a better baseball player.
I have been a head cross country coach at Gateway High and Cerebration High since 2005 and joined the track and field staff at Celebration High as a distances coach for the 2009 - 2017 seasons. I am Currently also an assistant Varsity Baseball coach at Celebration High. My aspirations as a coach are to continue to inspire and motivate athletes into becoming the best versions of themselves.
Kristin Gamble
I am a mother, daughter, friend, teacher, athletic director and coach. I have always enjoyed and been active in sports such as tennis, softball, football, volleyball, and more. I have ran 10 marathons (including Boston) many half marathons and more 5/10Ks!! Most recently, I coached cross country and track and field at the middle school and elementary levels for several years. My joy comes from seeing an athlete start to truly enjoy the sport and how they feel after they complete a race, game or match!

I attend Nova Southeastern University where im majoring in Sports and Recreational Management with a pre-law minor. I'm a member of the Cross Country and Track Field team where is specalize in middle distance.
