General Information

 

Welcome parents and athletes! As our athletic seasons come to an end, the next season is right around the corner. We are excited to begin training for the AAU Cross Country & Track and Field Central Florida Flyers seasons.

 

For the many reasons as to why, you’d like to participate in the club this season. Perhaps it’s to be involved in a team over the off-season to become a stronger and faster athlete. At the end of the day, it’s for the love of the sport.  We as coaches have a love for the sport and want to see you all succeed.

 

In order to have a successful program here’s what we need from you. First, complete your registration form and complete yor team payment & AAU membership. Your Flyers registration will cover your Flyers membership for the calendar year, training sessions with our coaches, facility costs, and use of equipment.  The AAU membership will allow you to particiate in those sponsered events and insurance.

Costs

​

The registration cost for the Flyers is $200 for the calendar year. This cost covers your Flyers Membership, team insurance, practices with our coaches, and the use of our training facilities and equipment and helps cover team expenses. You will need to purchase an additional AAU Membership of $14 to cover insurance and have access to participate in sponsored events. Once we receive your flyers membership we will provide you with a club to attach to your AAU memberships.

 
If you already have a valid AAU membership, that can be linked to our team. The only discount we offer is for multiple siblings. The majority of our team only participates over the summer, which is our main seasons so our price reflects that time. It pays to register early, as you then are able to participate in the year round training.

If you are participating in any competitions, we expect you to wear our team jersey. We sell our team jersey tops and bottoms in our team store which the athletes are allowed to keep.  

 

To register for a meet, race, or competition please confirm registration for events with either a coach or our team bookkeeper. Then the coaches will officially register all athletes for the event. If you do not pay prior to the event registration deadline, your participation is not guaranteed.

 
Each competition has a different registration cost which is additional to the team registration. Participation in the competition is not required, which is why the cost is separate. Prices for competitions can be found on our team’s schedule.

 

If you wish to have a receipt for your records for any team purchases we will provide one upon request. Our team accepts cash or checks made out to the Central Florida Flyers.

Yes, they are required! If you have a valid membership for another sport it can be linked to our club. Make sure you select our Club so you are registered under our team.
